Quality Programs Research Using Hospital or Health System Data
Unlock Insight, Drive Improvement
Hospitals, EMS agencies, and Superuser accounts participating in the ·¬ÇÑÊÓƵ® (AHA) quality programs can leverage the IQVIA Registry Platform (IRP)—a secure, web-based system—to run customized reports, analyze their own data, and benchmark performance against national trends. This tool supports internal quality improvement initiatives.
Support for Hospital-Level Research
Hospitals involved in AHA initiatives such as Implementation Science, Healthcare Certification, and Professional Certification have the opportunity to develop study questions and conduct research projects at the hospital level using available program data.
Publishing and Data Use
Organizations including hospitals, EMS agencies, health departments, and research collaboratives may analyze and publish data from AHA quality programs in peer-reviewed journals, at scientific conferences, and on public-facing websites. However, use of data from other hospitals in any analysis or comparison requires proper permissions. Additionally, all hospital-level publications and public-facing materials must be reviewed by AHA Research staff to ensure compliance and maintain data integrity.
