What is the American Heart Challenge?

The American Heart Challenge is a service-learning program that gives middle and high school students the opportunity to feel good by doing good. Students will raise funds and awareness to fight for health equity and to end heart disease and stroke.

Why should your school register to participate?

Earn Give-Backs and Incentives

  • Earn US Games certificates to redeem for physical education or playground equipment.
  • Direct contributions back to your school.
  • Participating schools are eligible to apply for up to $2,500 in grant funding.
  • Seniors who participate can apply for a $1,000 college scholarship.

Build Your Curriculum

  • We provide a library of educational activities and resources on topics like teamwork, kindness, anti-vaping, positive thinking, sleep and STEAM.
  • PE-focused curriculum tools and videos to support state teaching standards.
